The house is very stylish and comfortable with all necessary facilities. Everything is as presented as on the airbnb profile. Our host, Manolis was more than kind and helpful. He knew a lot about the area and its history so we have learned a little more about Cretan history and culture.
Our stay at Vafes was one of the best moments of our tour. So without doubt we can recommend this apartment.

Normally I do not do ratings in the internet and when I read the previous comments I immediately thought: I totally agree, nothing to add. Anyway, I do this rating as acknowlagement of our gratitude for such a wonderful time we spend in Vafes with our host Manolis. Even though Crete has an amazing nature, culture, food and history it happened that we especially enjoyed the beautiful reconstructed traditional holiday appartement and the hospitality of Manolis. We (family with a girl age of 10) can absolutely recommend this residence. Ah, I forgot something which is not so nice: Sometime you have to leave and this will be a pain.
